Artwork Description:
This painting of a cloudscape was based on photographs of the Sun taken by the artist together with a multiplicity of shots of cloudscapes and nature. He definitely had this idea improved upon seeing an exhibition of German artist Andreas Gursky which had plentiful of similar motifs. The composition is fully dominated by the indigo-black and grayish-white clouds just slightly accenting this canvas.
