Artwork Description:
This painting of a cloudscape was based on photographs of the Sun taken by the artist, together with a multiplicity of shots of cloudscapes and nature. He definitely improved on this idea after seeing an exhibition of the German artist Andreas Gursky, which featured plenty of similar motifs. The composition is dominated by indigo-black and grayish-white clouds, which just slightly accent this canvas.
