Artwork Description:
This painting of a mirrored room was based on the photograph of a gallery of kitchenware luckily discovered by an artist while he was nearly lost in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The room is nearly hypnotizing, the interior covered with reflections and a myriad of glaring lights on the cookware. Raw umber, brown, and yellowish-warm gray are the prevailing colors in this composition.
