Artwork Description:
This painting of a mirrored room was based on an image of a gallery of kitchenware that an artist happened to discover while he was nearly lost in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The room is nearly hypnotizing, the interior covered with reflections and a myriad of glaring lights on the cookware. Raw umber, brown, and a warm yellowish gray are the prevailing colors in this composition.
