Artwork Description:
This digital painting is based on a photograph of a speedboat taken by the artist during a trip to the Dominican Republic. The trip was short, but Chiao took tons of photographs of the hotels, ships, clouds, beaches, and waves. Here, he collages an image of a beautiful cloud together with a speedboat to achieve the desired compositional effect. The colors used here are silver-gray and white.
