Artwork Description:
This digital painting is based on the photograph of a speedboat taken by the artist during travel to the Dominican Republic. The trip was short but Chiao took tons of photographs of the hotels, ships, clouds, beaches, and waves. Here he collages an image of a beautiful cloud together with a speedboat to achieve the desired compositional effect. The colors used here are silver-gray and white.
