Artwork Description:
This still life is a depiction of a big bouquet of anemones on a dark background carefully collaged by the artist from his base material. He purchased the flowers from Manhattan Flowers Shop and photographed them in his studio. Odilon Redon was an artist whose still life featured the same flowers - anemones - which inspired the artist to continue the same tradition.
