Artwork Description:
The Still Life with the Weekly Ration is a depiction of food that the artist tended to consume each week upon his digestive health becoming quite weak. Chiao switched to a vegetarian diet and daily exercising to prevent his death from the consequences of digestive complications. Since then he became vegetarian and his philosophy adopted to value the lives of animals and plants known to us as simply food. The colors here are silver-white with multi-colored accents of fruits and vegetables.
