Artwork Description:
The Visitor is a painting that was part of the exhibition Time and Measures (2007), Behr-Thyssen Ltd, the artist's first solo exhibition. The Interior here is purportedly the same as the exhibition gallery, which was supposedly a visual trick. Other paintings in the exhibition included Chaos and Order, a picture of an artist's studio; The Opening, featuring a crowd at the exhibition's opening; and many smaller canvases depicting gallery girls looking at art.
